Pretty Smart® was founded in 2013 with one simple goal: to create stylish, truly comfortable earrings for sensitive ears.
After years of painful reactions to metal earrings, I began handcrafting nickel-free plastic post earrings for myself and my daughter. For the first time, we could wear earrings all day - no redness, no itching, no irritation. That moment sparked the beginning of Pretty Smart®.
When my oldest daughter decided not to pierce her ears, the challenge continued. I searched for a comfortable, discreet alternative and discovered clear, lightweight clip-ons gentle enough for everyday wear. From there, our signature Smart Earrings™ were born - designed specifically for sensitive ears and non-pierced ears alike.
