I was asked by Amazon to share my thoughts on being a working mother in celebration of Mother's Day. My quote was featured on the front page of Handmade at Amazon.ca April 18 to May 13, 2018. This spring Pretty Smart donated another 65 pairs of metal free earrings to the Treasure Chest at Ronald McDonald House of Southwestern Ontario.  This amazing room is full of magic.  Every child who stays at Ronald McDonald House receives a coupon to choose a toy from the Treasure Chest.  In addition the room is full of gifts that children can choose on special days or even as a pick me up on a tough day.  Pretty Smart earrings will be made available at no cost to any child who wishes a pair of earrings that they can wear during their medical treatments. To date...

Pretty Smart™ is a continuing supporter of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwestern Ontario.  A home away from home where out-of-town families with seriously ill children can stay for as long as they need.  My family fell in love with this charity when we decided to donate our money from our fundraising efforts to buy gifts for the children staying there last Christmas.  To raise money we sold Pretty Smart earrings as well as crafts and homemade gifts at our school Christmas craft sale.
